New ways to manage your subscription
Two new tools are available to efficiently manage your VisioNize subscription:
- the role of a subscription manager
- a new subscription management suite
With the new subscription management suite, everyone of your Lab Members will be able to view the current subscription details. The dedicated role of a Subscription Manager allows you to invite a non-lab person into VisioNize Lab Suite.

What’s new
New subscription management suite
With the new subscription management suite, your subscription information is accessible to every Lab Member of VisioNize Lab Suite. This allows everyone in your organization to check the current subscription details.
Subscription self-service
As a Lab Manager you access the new subscription suite with additional permissions. Lab Managers can change the license type, add or remove device licenses, and cancel the subscription.
New role: subscription manager
If your organization has a dedicated person to manage the subscription (typically a colleague in purchasing, finance, or billing), you can assign this person the new Subscription Manager role.
This role provides access to all self-service features in the subscription suite, but has limited privileges in VisioNize Lab Suite. A Subscription Manager can only access user management in VisioNize Lab Suite.
Setting up a dedicated person in your organization as a Subscription Manager is recommended when:
- Management of digital subscriptions and invoices is not handled by the Lab Managers themselves
- The Lab Manager setup changes frequently and one nominated person keeps track of the subscription
The new Subscription Manager role allows for better organization and role separation within your lab.

- Immediate effect of changes - Need to connect more devices? Changes made through self-service take effect immediately.
- Clear role separation - A Subscription Manager from the purchasing department does not need to be involved in your lab’s day-to-day routines.
